What in the world? I mean I thought Gov. Mitt Romney had it bad back in 2012 when liberal social media users were threatening his life on a daily basis, and it seemed nobody in government was doing anything about it. It seems this election cycle it’s different.
NBC News reported Sean Taylor Morkys, 20, was arrested by the Connecticut State Police after the Secret Service discovered he had been tweeting terroristic threats from his home. That should be a lesson to all these little basement monkeys with no sense of direction; you can get into trouble shooting off your mouths against presidential candidates.
The police were able to track Morkys all the way down to his address through Twitter. It seems the little snot was the only user of the account, so he wasn’t hacked. Morkys tweeted “Is someone going to bomb the trump rally or am I going to have to?,” the New Haven Register reports.
From WTNH News 8:
A 20-year-old man is in custody after threatening to bomb Saturday’s rally for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in Waterbury.
At about 12:45 p.m., the United States Secret Service contacted the Connecticut State Police after seeing a threat posted on Twitter threatening to “bomb” the rally for Trump.
According to state police, the Twitter post said, “Is someone going to bomb the Trump rally or am I going to have to?”
A second Twitter post warned the suspect’s friend to have his family members leave the rally so they wouldn’t be hurt.
Detectives found that the Twitter posts came from the area of Ardsley Road in Waterbury from the account of Sean Taylor Morkys.
Morkys was located by State Police Counter Terrorism detectives, Waterbury police officers, and special agents from the United States Secret Service. He was taken into custody at about 5 p.m.
The liberal mindset is blowing up because as the election finally gets down to crunch time, Trump is in the position of winning the GOP nomination and if this happens, it will be the first time in a long period the establishment will not have control over the candidate and could signal a significant change to how things operate.
But these kids today think they can say whatever they want to on social media without repercussions, and that’s not the case as seen in this situation. Reports are he posted bail, and he’s out. Hopefully, he does time as an example to others.
