You know the saying keep your friends close, and your enemies closer? Well, I’m a firm believer in that methodology. As such I read the Gothamist, Huffpo, and other publications like those. I find this is a useful method in knowing what the enemy is up to. When I encounter a topic that particularly irritates me, (which is quite often) I’ll engage in the comments. Our good friend Wayne Dupree is no stranger to what comes next, but we’ll get to that in a moment. As I examined my feeds today during lunch, I came across a post on Gothamist that stated the following:

Police tell AP that teen gangs are responsible for about 40 percent of all city shootings. “It’s like belonging to an evil fraternity,” said Inspector Kevin Catalina, commander of the NYPD gang division. “A lot of it is driven by nothing: A dispute over a girl or a wrong look or a perceived slight.”
I decided to comment as one would expect a Conservative American Patriot to comment. I stated that even though we have these numbers, the politicians insist on restricting and going after the good guys and our gun rights. Guys like you and me. That makes perfect sense doesn’t it? That’s when it started, the love, or lack there of began to flow from fellow commenters. It’s kind of funny that I just wrote a post for our friends at Clashdaily, discussing how conservative folks handle disagreements, contrary to Liberal folks. This right here is a perfect example.
Check out the way this guy came after me, and look at how I respond. Ah, those angry Liberals and their race baiting!
Examine this guy’s logic, “they only kill each other.” Oh, that changes everything, right? Does that make it ok? Then he talks about my white fear. I’m from Puerto Rico, hablo espanol! Why is it that supporting gun rights makes me a white guy? It’s an American right, and Americans come in all colors. Not satisfied with just one label, he also said that I was aggressive towards women, which is total nonsense. My point in replying to that woman the way I did, was to speak a language that she would understand. Democrats operate off of emotion, as such; I have to appeal to her emotions in order to attempt and penetrate her thick liberal skull. In no way do I insinuate that I’d bring her harm, and in no way do I mention any race, but somehow this guy managed to bring both of those items up. We have a mini Al Sharpton over here! Piss off!
