In the wake of the one-year anniversary of the Ferguson shooting, more violence broke out this year, but one brave girl wanted to make a statement. A 19-year-old nursing student named Lexi Kozhevsky stood with her back at the cops, showing her solidarity with them.
In response to protesters throwing objects at the police, the St. Louis University stated “I would rather get hit by something than letting it hit them.”

lexi kozhevsky was being foolish. there was nothing for her to protect. It was not "taking a stand" it was an UNNEEDED exercise of privilege
