BEHNA: LIBERAL INTOLERANCE! Congressman Skipping Pope’s Speech Gets Hate Tweets #PopeInDC

Congressman Paul Gosar of Arizona is choosing to boycott Pope Francis’s speech when he addresses Congress on Thursday. The chief reason for his absence is that the pope will reportedly discuss climate change, while Gosar feels that there are much more important issues.

And liberals always say they’re tolerant, right? Not quite. Liberals wasted no time to trash him on Twitter.

Not only did some wish Gosar to hell, but these users below want him excommunicated from the Church. Hate to break it to them, but disagreeing on one political issue, and intentionally not attending the Pope’s congressional address is no grounds for an excommunication.

In case Pope Francis couldn’t excommunicate the Congressman, this one is asking the USCCB (U.S. Catholic Bishops) to excommunicate him, even though they have no authority to.

Now, I personally disagree with the Congressman boycotting the Pope. If I were him, it would be a great honor to listen to the Pope speak, even if he may disagree. Nevertheless, Gosar still has his first amendment rights to not attend, and attacking him shows just how “tolerant” leftists are.

What do you think about Rep. Gosar planning not to attend the Pope’s address? Comment below and please share on Facebook and Twitter.
