The former Speaker of the House John Boehner is at it with Ted Cruz again. This time he’s calling him “Lucifer in the flesh”, coming from a Stanford University discussion on Wednesday.
But he wasn’t finished there. He added:
I have Democrat friends and Republican friends. I get along with almost everyone, but I have never worked with a more miserable son of a bitch in my life.
In response, Ted Cruz fired back, not backing down and took it to Twitter.
Tell me again who will stand up to Washington? Trump, who's Boehner's "texting and golfing buddy," or Carly & me? https://t.co/qvYPSaTEV7

Cruz also said “When John Boehner calls me Lucifer, he is directing it at you. What Boehner is angry at is me standing with the American people.”
Thank goodness Boehner is no longer Speaker of the House. This isn’t the first time he had a scuffle with Cruz, and it probably won’t be the last. He may be out of the speaker position, but his criticisms of constitutional conservatives show why Washington is so messed up. Politicians like Boehner refuse to listen to millions of Americans, and although Paul Ryan may not be perfect, he is clearly a more reasonable Speaker who would be willing to work with Cruz.
