Wednesday morning, President Trump slammed the Nordstrom retailer for dropping his daughter’s fashion line.
My daughter Ivanka has been treated so unfairly by @Nordstrom. She is a great person — always pushing me to do the right thing! Terrible!

Business Insider reported boycotts as part of the reason for cutting ties with Ivanka last week.
Nordstrom’s decision comes amid calls for a boycott against retailers that carry Trump products.
Trump’s brand, which sells women’s clothing, shoes, and handbags, was available on Nordstrom’s website as recently as Wednesday. On Thursday, Trump was not listed on Nordstrom’s master list of brands available, as Business Insider previously reported.
As disappointed Trump may be, there is probably not much choice Nordstrom had when the boycotts led to decreasing sales.
I have previously said that the children of a president should not be punished, including Ivanka in this case. However, Nordstrom’s decision along with the boycotts are both legal.
