Last night during the GOP debate, Senator Ted Cruz (my number 1 choice) made a gaffe when he was explaining his defense of religious liberties.
He was explaining some of the acts he would take as president.
The next thing I intend to do is instruct the Department of Justice and the IRS to start persecuting religious liberty, and then intend to cancel the Iran deal, and finally move the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.
Although it appears he possibly meant to say “stop persecuting religious liberty”, he accidentally used the word “start.”
Because some liberals are gullible and really think Ted Cruz hates religious liberty, they took their thoughts to Twitter.

I’m ready for the Ted Cruz ‘I’m going to instruct the DOJ to persecute religious liberty’ Vine please and thank you.

Ted Cruz wants to "persecute religious liberty"…
Refreshing to have a candidate be so open and honest about their evil.

#GOPDebate Did Ted Cruz just say he would persecute Religious Liberty? I can see that. Freudian slip much?

I almost forgot that liberals think Obama is a flawless president who happens to use his teleprompter 24/7. Yes, Ted Cruz made a mistake, something the left can’t seem to comprehend. Perhaps we should remind them of all the gaffes Obama makes constantly.
Besides, it is Obama who really is waging a war on religious liberty, such as mandating Little Sisters of the Poor to provide contraceptives against their conscience via Obamacare, or his defense of the federal government mandating taxpayers to continue funding $500 Million to Planned Parenthood against our will.
Unlike Obama, we know Ted Cruz has always been a staunch defender of religious liberties.
What do you think about Ted Cruz making this gaffe? Please comment and share on Facebook and Twitter.
