Ben Carson threatens GOP: If leaders want to destroy the party, I’m out!

I am highly offended that a meeting to circumvent the will of the voters even took place if indeed it did. The RNC needs to look act further to let people understand how corrupt they have become. Maybe Dr. Ben Carson and Donald Trump should both go independent.

Carson is 100% correct. No matter what anyone thinks of Trump, it is not the party’s place to circumvent the vote of the people to suit their requirements. If they do, Republicans might as well not run at all, since they will be handing a victory to the Democrats. This is supposed to be a free country. If the people want Trump, Carson or Cruz and the party doesn’t agree, then the party has to keep their mouths shut and their votes where the people want them.

I’m completely fed up with Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, the liberal agenda and anyone that sides with it. Their preaching about how I should act and their holier than thou attitude is disgusting.

Washington Post reports:

“If the leaders of the Republican Party want to destroy the party, they should continue to hold meetings like the one described in the Washington Post this morning.

“If this was the beginning of a plan to subvert the will of the voters and replaces it with the will of the political elite, I assure you Donald Trump will not be the only one leaving the party.

“I pray that the report in the Post this morning was incorrect. If it is correct, every voter who is standing for change must know they are being betrayed. I won’t stand for it.

“This process is the one played out by our party. If the powerful try to manipulate it, the Republican National Convention in Cleveland next summer may be the last convention. I am prepared to lose fair and square, as I am sure is Donald. But I will not sit by and watch a theft. I intend on being the nominee. If I am not, the winner will have my support. If the winner isn’t our nominee then we have a massive problem. My campaign is about ‘We the People’ not ‘They the Powerful.‘”

Should the GOP “broker” a convention, it will, indeed be an end to the current Republican Party. It will be replaced by another party. There are already a solid bloc of people who are equally disgusted with both current political parties.

What should happen here? Where do you stand? Is this the way to defeat the will of the people, overstep them at the convention? Do you agree with Carson? Share your thoughts and views below in the comment section.
