Not only doesn’t the lame duck want to give up the office, but he also wants to muddy the waters before he leaves!
Barack Obama started off his presidency with the “Apology Tour,” traveling around to countries saying how America wasn’t great anymore and we’ve been bad in so many ways.
Now he’s traveling trying to alert his newly found friends to try to keep his policies in place even though President-Elect Trump takes office in a few weeks.
Hopefully, everyone realizes Obama’s head is in the sand. Liberals need to realize they lost the president, congress, senate and governor positions and Obama still pretends he was not the problem? Obviously, he is in denial.
Trump won the electoral votes by a landslide, and if you take out the million or more illegal votes (that Obama urged on) then Trump won the majority of legal votes too!!! In addition to that, when your party backs a liar that put the USA in jeopardy with a private email server and pay for play while serving as Secretary of State among other things you can’t expect the people to back them.
But traveling around bashing the incoming new leader is wrong, and Obama knows it.
From Daily Mail:
While he praised Trump for pulling off ‘one of the biggest political upsets in history,’ Obama scolded his Republican successor for believing he can deliver on his campaign promises.
‘I think that he successfully mobilized a big chunk of the country to vote for him,’ Obama told reporters.
But ‘regardless of what experience or assumptions he brought to the office, this office has a way of waking you up.’
‘And those aspects of his positions or predispositions that don’t match up with reality, he will find shaken up pretty quick. Because reality has a way of asserting itself.’
‘I think it’ll be important for him to have the room, to staff up, to figure out what his priorities are, to be able to distinguish between what he was campaigning on and what is practical – what he can achieve,’ Obama cautioned.
‘You know, there are certain things that made for good sound bites, but don’t always translate into good policy. And that’s something that he and his team will wrestle with in the same way every president wrestles with.’
Ultimately, Obama hinted, he believes Trump is more a realist than a principled conservative – despite connecting with a previously disengaged voting base on the strength of broad promises.
Hey, Mr. Obama, all those accomplishments you credit yourself with, remember your words “you didn’t build that!” Just because you couldn’t keep your promises, doesn’t mean won’t keep his!
Let me correct myself; maybe Obama did keep one or two promises. He promised to fundamentally change America. He did. I hardly recognize it. We have a racial divide, wide open borders, snowflake children who require safety zones, 92 million people out of the workforce, insurance premiums and deductibles which no one can afford and I could go on.
I know it’s so way over the top but the worst president since Carter is going to tell the next president, who will be the greatest president since Reagan, how he’s going to fail. Obama, remember, that’s the same guy you said will never be President. Don’t let the door hit you in the ass. Please leave the furniture. Democrats have had a problem with sticky fingers.
