GOP Candidate Dr. Ben Carson is angry, and he joined the members of Fox and Friends this morning to discuss what happened during the Iowa Caucuses last night We covered the story earlier this morning and included some of the tweets Carson mentioned in the interview below.
There was a misunderstanding that led to only the Ted Cruz campaign using this information during the caucus. That’s what I find more strange than anything else. Nobody else used this for gain except them.
From Fox News Insider:
Carson said Iowans were being told by Cruz supporters that he was going to leave the race.
He said that his wife was at one Iowa caucus precinct where this went on.
“The organizer told her, ‘I’m so glad you’re here so you can set the record straight and she did. And we actually won in that precinct,” he said.
He said if Cruz didn’t know this was going on, then he needs to fire some people.
“If he does know about it, isn’t this the exact kind of thing that the American people are tired of? Why would we want to continue with that kind of shenanigans?” he asked.
Carson, who finished fourth with 9 percent of the vote, said he believes he would have finished much higher if not for these tactics.
This is the tweet referenced in the video:
Carson looks like he is out. Iowans need to know before they vote. Most will go to Cruz, I hope. https://t.co/lW5Js50EMA
