GOP Candidate Ted Cruz’s name has been in the news the last couple of days and from a person on on the outside looking in, his supporters look like this was going to be cake walk for him so any inquiries or doubts anyone has on the Senator from Texas is met with scorn, hard responses or blocked account status.
BTW, Ted Cruz eligibility status was in question a couple of years ago and he took steps to try to settle the issue. Liberals will make a huge point of this during the general election if Cruz is able to win the nomination. Josh Earnest, White House Press Secretary, spoke to that on Wednesday almost in glee.
Many of Cruz supporters are blaming Donald Trump for bringing up the citizenship issue. Funny how when the liberal media asks questions of the candidates, the candidates get blamed by answering them, but I digress.
Check out these responses!

We are questioning Cruz' eligibility. It needs a SOCTUS decision. Not a court of public or MEDIA opinion. @seanhannity

We're Trump Supporters and if you're not you might want to just Cruz on through. ;o)

The media can't get Ted Cruz to hit back at Donald Trump – no matter how hard it tries https://t.co/lLFad5hI8X

Carson campaign shakeup will drive Iowa voters to Cruz. The plot thickens to defeat Trump. Cruz is ineligible, as Obama — James David Manning (@DrJamesDManning) December 31, 2015
@mitchellvii Rush missing the point. Trump did NOT say Cruz is ineligible, just pointed out obvious fact the ambiguity would be a liability

@ReleasetheGSEs So does Trump. But knows how to balance budgets, trim debt, negotiate, create jobs, manage people. No way Cruz can do that.

I'm done with @marklevinshow. The fact that he defends Cruz by pointing out birther questions on Trump is dumb. Just endorse Cruz already.
— Michael Foresta (@M_Foresta) January 7, 2016
@marklevinshow trying so hard to defend establishment Cruz… why? Meanwhile, posting negatives about Trump. Fishy.
— Anti-Establishment (@TrumpTheSystem) January 7, 2016
Trump's lead is so dominant at this point, Cruz is running for 2nd, or as we like to say, 1st loser. 🙂

Rush said today that if Cruz wins Iowa, the paradigm changes and all bets are off. I don’t believe it, BUT let’s make Trump win Iowa anyway.

I can’t understand why Ted Cruz would make a Presidential Bid knowing his “birther” issue will be a huge problem for him and GOP? — Randall Roe (@RandallRoe) January 7, 2016

What Marco Rubio said in New Hampshire about Cruz’s Canadian birth, Christie, and his famous boots https://t.co/BAprqfupvZ

The birther game: Marco Rubio, Cuban citizen parents is legal-Ted Cruz illegal with American citizen mother. Panic move to stop ppls choice? — Burt Hands (@Burt_NWAS) January 7, 2016
Rubio has spent a lot of time and resources trying to take out Cruz. Yet Cruz keeps going up. Shift to Christie may be a surrender of sorts.
— Amanda Carpenter (@amandacarpenter) January 4, 2016
Cruz is just as ineligible this morning as he was last night, but his supporters don’t care. Its Obama all over again. — American Hank (@_HankRearden) January 7, 2016
These are just some of the social media messages going back and forth over this controversy that won’t go away anytime soon. Will Cruz supporters continue to blame Trump or will they force themselves to see the argument has been out there and the media is pushing this subject to give rise to Rubio and possibly Christie or even Jeb Bush?
