Who better to explain the terms of Cultural Marxism than a leftist adjunct professor at a White Privilege Conference?
Kankakee Community College adjunct professor Stephanie Baran is heard promoting the idea that capitalism is the cause of racism in the modern world while speaking at the White Privilege Conference held in Madison, Wisc., this March. The answer, apparently, is full-blown Marxism.
When conservatives talk about Marxism in general, the left is always there to tell us we don’t know what Marxism is all about. Our definitions are wrong, our verbiage is incorrect, and our lack of knowledge of the subject is woefully short. The problem with Marxism is that – in general – it’s a difficult term to nail down, but most of us realize that Marxism involves several things and the entire definition is a mouthful.
Here is the Merriam-Webster online definition of Marxism. “the political, economic, and social principles and policies advocated by Marx; especially : a theory and practice of socialism including the labor theory of value, dialectical materialism, the class struggle, and dictatorship of the proletariat until the establishment of a classless society.”
Marxism compares the haves with the have nots. It emphasizes a dialectical view of social transformation. Dialectical – in this sense – is referring to Hegelian Dialectics and means “the Hegelian process of change in which a concept or its realization passes over into and is preserved and fulfilled by its opposite; also : the critical investigation of this process.” Hegelian Dialectic is used often by those on the left. Explanations can often be labored and intense because Hegel himself – as a philosopher – was difficult to understand. To keep things simple, I’ve included a chart I’ve created to help explain the process as simply as possible.
As can be seen in the image, Hegelian Dialectic starts with an agenda. In this case, the Oligarchy wants to have centralized power throughout the world, but how to make that happen? Either create terror events that have real casualties or wait for a real one to come along that also has real casualties. That’s the thesis, or proposition that is being used to bring the agenda to fruition. Notice the thesis has nothing directly to do (seemingly) with the agenda and this agenda of course, would be kept under wraps only known by people who actually need to know.
The Anti-thesis (or reaction) to the thesis is an increasing police presence (state) in order to appear to try to make society more secure from terrorist events. Of course, since the terrorist event in question was either created by those associated with the Oligarchy or allowed by them, then making society more “secure” is not the real intent. Control is the intent.
Finally, the Synthesis is when the Thesis and Anti-thesis come together to create something new. In our example, a terror event is created (or allowed), resulting in the populace demanding the government do what it can to keep society safe. The government complies by removing rights/freedoms in what is really a transfer of power. This happens because the average person wrongly believes that the government exists to keep us safe and has no knowledge that the terrorist event was created to centralize power – give more power to the government.
Getting back to the White Privilege Conference, it is very clear that Hegelian tactics, as part of Marxism, are being pushed. Lies are often part of the package. Just like an artificially created terrorist event (complete with real injuries and even deaths) is ultimately a lie to bring about the type of change needed/desired, other lies are often employed by Marxists to bring certain things to pass.
A few of the lies propagated at the recent conference (held this past March) include the following:
- The White Race was created in 1681
- Rape is not “intrinsically” bad
- Christianity must be reigned in because of its inherent “racism”
The goal is to recreate society. The only way to do that is by overpowering and replacing traditional values with new ones. “The goal of the conference, according to another article at Progressives Today, was to promote ways educators could indoctrinate young children as part of the effort to remake America into a collectivist economy ruled by a tyrannical, oppressive government. Naturally, Christianity was a favorite target of speakers at the conference.”
Christianity is a major target because of the biblical principles within it. Conference attendees even heard speakers talk about the fact that the 1st Amendment needs to be limited. In other words, the answer would be “for government to decide what’s okay for us to say out loud, and what we have to keep to ourselves.”
What I find fascinating is that this is even remotely tolerable, even by leftists. But if leftists gained full control of society (through Cultural Marxism) that put them in the driver’s seat, you can bet that they would still be able to say anything they wanted to say. They would be able to denigrate Christianity as being racist and bigoted while fully ignoring the way Islam tramples on the civil rights of people. Islam is a useful tool for the left to use as a hegemony because, while there are many examples of bigotry and anti-women values at its core, Islam is perfect to use as a tool by leftists to reign in Christianity.
It is staggering that society has come to this point. I am reminded of Romans 1 again. Watching society turn itself inside out is something I really never thought I would see, even though I have understood what the Bible says about the end times.
But think of the fact that a conference was held that was actually called “White Privilege Conference.” Only in today’s society could this be done – this is how far we have come off our traditional, biblical moorings. The communists (Cultural Marxists) are out of the closet. Something must be telling them they have turned a corner and are not in fear of losing their jobs or being ostracized by society. Frankly, I’m not sure we can put the worms back in the can, but in spite of that, we still need to educate as many people as possible about the dangers of Cultural Marxism.
