Has anyone else seen how the media is doing its best to paint Donald Trump, Jeb Bush, Rand Paul (and every other Republican candidate for that matter) as misogynists…gee, I wonder why? could it be because the candidate they want to win is a woman?
With that said, in Iowa, nearly two-thirds of those surveyed say they watched the evening debate of the top 10 contenders, and more than four in 10 watched the afternoon debate of seven candidates, including Fiorina. The former chief executive of Hewlett-Packard fared well despite her failure to make the cut for the evening debate. More than nine of 10 say she should be invited to future televised debates of the top-tier contenders.
Suffolk University’s poll found Mr. Trump with 16.6% support from would-be Iowa GOP caucus goers, ahead of second-place Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, at 12%. Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson are next at 9.6% and 9.4%. Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and former Hewlett-Packard Co. chief executive Carly Fiorina are at 7.4% and 7.2%.
Combine the poll numbers of the 3 non-career politicians [Trump, Fiorina, and Carson]. That number reflects what is happening in the GOP base. Somewhere the GOP Establishment, Chamber of Commerce, and the Business Roundtable have to understand where much of America sits. Of course they can continue to make the same mistake they have for over a decade and get the same election results and the pitiful growth of America. Such trio wants another globalist…Bush III. Go ahead, sow that, reap another Clinton and Obama. History talks.
Trump’s standing with the GOP is dented by his boldly stating out loud what the GOP positions and attitudes are. He appeals to the registered Republicans because his views are accepted by them. This is as much of a sad day for the GOP and the anger-infused Fox propaganda media as it is for Trump.
