Dr Ben Carson Most Likely Will Not Accept Cabinet Position

Dr. Ben Carson has done what’s good for him first. He’s been an absolute inspiration, and this country should wish him well in whatever direction he chooses to go.

He has always said he wasn’t looking for a job. This just confirms that. I’ll assume he will continue his advisor position as he has done throughout the campaign.

From Washington Post:

Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, a confidant to President-elect Donald Trump since the end of the Republican primaries, says it is unlikely that he will join the administration but that he will remain an informal adviser.

“The way I’m leaning is to work from the outside and not from the inside,” Carson said in an interview Tuesday with The Washington Post. “I want to have the freedom to work on many issues and not be pigeonholed into one particular area.”

He has been under consideration for several positions in Trump’s Cabinet, including Secretary of health and human services.

“I’ve said that if it came to a point where he needs me, I’d reconsider. But I don’t think that’s the situation with these positions,” Carson said.

Trump has his support, and that’s all that matters. Trump will choose the best team regardless. The white house is about to be cleaned up!

Dr. Ben Carson, I respect you on so many levels, I wanted you to be a part of this administration, may God continue to bless you and your family.
