Ana Zamora, a DREAMer from Texas, wrote President Obama a letter last fall thanking him for his executive amnesty.
Zamora qualified for Obama’s 2012 Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program and her parents will reportedly qualify for Obama’s executive amnesty, which will protect the parents of U.S. citizens from deportation. Though Zamora, along with her parents, were illegal immigrants, Ana’s parents will qualify because her brother and sister were reportedly born in America.
She will sit with First Lady Michelle Obama along with 21 others.
The House recently passed a Homeland Security spending bill that defunds DACA and Obama’s most recent executive amnesty, but Obama has vowed to veto any bill that defunds either action.
President Obama will once again use the State of the Union as liberal propaganda. Having Ana at the event will show Americans just how “great” his executive amnesty is. He will harp on the fact that she is united with her family and now has millions of opportunities for a better life. Obama will mention that the GOP wants to defund this, and will paint the right as evil and will try to convince Americans that Republicans hate immigrants and minorities.
But we all know that this isn’t true and that there is much more to executive amnesty than just helping Ana Zamora. And the executive amnesty is unconstitutional, but we can’t expect ignorant Democrats to understand this, can we?
