‘Disillusioned black voters ask: Is voting even worth it?’ If you keep voting for democrats it’s not.
Lyndon Baines Johnson’s ‘War on Poverty” to date has spent trillions, some say the numbers are close to $22 trillion mostly all in the last half century, more than every other american war since the revolutionary way combined, more quota slots and set aside than you could count if you tried for a hundred years, and the black communities are worse off now in so many meaningful ways than a half century ago.
Three of four black children are born into and raised in single family homes, the biggest predictor of poverty and incarceration.
The Democratic Party’s message to black Americans is just stay home and don’t vote. We got your back. We can run this country much better than we have in the past. We are hip to your issues and how the man has been pushing your around. We are cool.
Until the black community looks and sees that going on five generations of going backward, something new should be tried, you know like stop with the victim card all the time and look within to their own communities to decide to make changes that they only can do for themselves, then they will spend another five generations at the bottom of the rung and see every other community pass them. To be honest I can not see anything but that happening.
It’s saddening that people talk “their issues”, as if they are different from others. Everyone cares about employment and ending violence.
It’s easy to see why these particular people feel disillusioned. They worked hard to get their candidate elected and reelected, and Obama cares far more about gay marriage, Iran nuke deals, and Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) than he does about the economy and ending violence. And TPP is going to hurt the working class badly.
It’s tough if you put someone on a pedestal to be paid back in lip service only. Nobody was hit harder than black Americans during Obama’s tenure, with double the national average for unemployment, and no help coming from the guy they put in the White House.
A liberal agenda does nothing to offer solutions, only more of the failed policies of the past – more taxes, more welfare, more debt, and more government programs.
