Have you heard the media reports about the GOP front-runner Donald Trump? Have you seen the statements made by Hollywood or the continued bashing and misrepresentation by fellow candidates?
Trump has been in the spotlight over the last 40 plus years. He’s made a lot of friends in the music and TV industry as well as the business and political sides. It’s true he does get along with a lot of people as they tap into him for money for their ventures and needs all the time. I would think Trump would not have ascended to his current position if he were racist or associated with the KKK.
Yes, I know I am using common sense but someone has to.
I think we all agree, there is a consolidated smear campaign to try to stop a movement of Americans who are unhappy with the status quo of DC power brokers and media reporting on both sides. I guess allowing people room to riot and calling it freedom of speech is acceptable? When you are attacked for your beliefs and the media gleefully reports your free association as hate…after awhile people just get more and more angry.
Maybe if the reporting were accurate, the temperature would come down.
Trump is gaining momentum and the people trying to destroy the country for personal gain are coming unhinged. What happened to voice your opinion at the ballot box?
When Trump says he’d like to punch a guy in the face for hurling personal insults at him, it’s not a call for violence. Even Trump recalling a time when “union busters” were employed to create absolute chaos, at union organization meetings, and subsequently” carried out on stretchers” is only drawing contrast to tactics being used by “protesters.”
Calling for border security, and deportations aren’t racist. Acknowledging many illegals traffic in drugs, distribute them largely in black communities, and eventually populate our prisons is a reality. Just as protesters demand to be heard, millions of Americans are speaking through Trump. We live in a time of “micro-aggressions” and “safe space”? How can you hold a discussion, or find a compromise in an atmosphere where just perceived bias forfeits your right to speak?
Protesters have both the means, and opportunity to hold events in proximity, and even simultaneously, and air their views.
Sabotaging voter rallies are wrong period and those who advocate or give these protesters the thumbs up are just as guilty.
