After two weeks of climate change talks in Paris finishing with an agreement on Saturday, Obama wasted no time using his same political rhetoric to praise the so-called agreement.
Fox News reported that the pact agreed to “limit the number of greenhouse gases emitted by human activity to the same levels that trees, soil, and oceans can absorb naturally, beginning at some point between 2050 and 2100.”
So how does Obama respond? He calls it a “turning point for the world.” I’m sure he’ll also double down on his claim that tackling “climate change” will somehow defeat the ISIS terrorists.
In short, this agreement will mean less of pollution that threatens our planet. Full implementation of this agreement and will pave the way for more progress in stages over the years. It sends a powerful signal: a low carbon future, in clean energy at a scale we have never seen before.
What Obama won’t tell you is that throwing natural gas and fossil fuels under the bus by replacing it with not so cheap wind and solar energy will drastically ruin our economy. But he’s right when he says “on a scale we have never seen before.” Of course, because our country was never insane enough to have a president who thinks he can get rid of all the carbon in the world, and suddenly halt billions of years of climate change to a stop.
Obama even blasted critics, claiming his agenda would not kill jobs.
Instead, we have driven our economic output to all-time highs in nearly two decades.
All countries have a role to play in climate change, wind and solar energy, creating a new and steady stream of middle class jobs.
What “economic output” does he refer to? He’s destroyed our economy for the past 7 years, and his climate change proposals will hurt the middle and poor class, even more, when all these green mandates and regulations cause electric and utility bills to skyrocket.
This is the reality we’re facing. We have a president who is more concerned with climate change than fighting terrorism, securing our borders, or cutting ours out of control spending. He is hellbent on continuing to push his far-left agenda, even at the expense of Americans losing their jobs and seeing their cost of living increase.
