Reports are swirling that Fox News Anchor Heather Nauert will be the Department of State spokesperson and give it our approval stamp!
Heather is one young lady who has been moving up the career ladder, and it’s about to take a serious leap as her name has been floated on joining the Trump administration. Heather has worked in front of media since the mid-90s, and she is a veteran at asking questions as well as answering them.
If you watch Fox News, you will agree she is not one to drop false narratives for personal gain.
Fox News anchor Heather Nauert is in talks to be named the next spokesperson for the State Department, multiple sources with knowledge of the talks tell POLITICO.
Nothing is final, as Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has yet to sign off on the appointment, one of the sources said.
Nauert was spotted at the White House last week, according to Axios, for an appointment to speak with President Donald Trump about a communications position.
Nauert, who has been with Fox since 1996 with a two-year break at ABC News, is currently a news anchor for the network’s morning show “Fox & Friends.” According to her Fox News biography, she graduated from Mt. Vernon College with an undergraduate degree in communications and received her master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University.
She is also a term member at the Council on Foreign Relations.
I hope Heather gets the gig. She deserves this great promotion, and she will be an asset to the team.
