Someone is desperate…….
Sen. Ted Cruz has created a narrative on how the GOP front-runner has received so much free media, more than any other candidate and he is done it semi-effectively during the last month or so.
But Anderson Cooper, Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly have all said they have reached out it numerous times for interviews with the Texas Senator and he is declined. Now Fox News host Greta Van Susteren is saying the same thing.
From The Hill:
“Almost every single day (including weekends) since at least last December when he last appeared on ON THE RECORD at 7p, the staff of ON THE RECORD at 7p has contacted the Cruz campaign offering Senator Ted Cruz live interviews, taped interviews or town halls,” Van Susteren wrote on her blog.
“We even told his campaign on dozens [of] occasions that they could pick the date and location for the town halls,” she continued. “He did not take us up on our offers. The staff claimed he was unavailable.”
Van Susteren said she had reached out to Cruz’s campaign personally “many, many, many times,” to book him on her show.
“We bent over backwards trying to give him the opportunity for interviews,” Van Susteren said. “He elected not to – which is his right – but now he is crying boo-hoo and claiming we are unfair.”
Fox News anchor Bill O’Reilly made a similar claim on his show on Monday night.
Ted just will not acknowledge that people simply do not like or trust him. He has never accomplished a single thing in the Senate, has no executive experience, and is despised in the Senate. He only has the religious zealots, a few tea party voters (of whom I was an original); and the anti-Trump establishment, which is only concerned with keeping the status quo. I cannot wait for this guy to lose big tonight!
Do you think the end is near for cruise if he loses the state of Indiana tonight? Share your comments below let us know what you think.
