Sean Hannity interviewed Donald Trump’s embattled campaign manager Corey Lewandowski tonight in New York, only a few hours after he had been cleared of the charge of battery from the Florida prosecutors.
Lewandowski looked as if a weight had been lifted off his shoulders as he spoke to Hannity in this full unedited video below:
Excerpts from the interview:
This was a huge distraction for the campaign and it shouldn’t have been. If Michelle Fields wanted to have a conversation we could have had a conversation privately… I’m glad it’s behind us. I’m glad there are no charges moving forward… What we saw was what she said was not factually accurate with what the tape was showing. So it’s important that that was there.
What we saw was we have an individual who remembers something very differently than the way I remember it. I don’t remember it all, candidly. In my entire interaction with her was on that video tape. I’ve never met her before. Never spoken to her afterwards. So, my sum total of my relationship with her is about three seconds long. And I know that sounds like a long time but in a three second incident that I don’t recall because it wasn’t very memorable. This has really taken over a big piece of my life and I’m glad it’s behind us…
…When I walked by Michelle Fields I said, “Excuse me. Thank you.” because that’s what polite people do they say “Excuse me” and “Thank you.” And I don’t remember anything more than that.
What happens now? Does Fields go on with her civil suit or does she stop and move on? Share your opinions (below) in our comment section and let us know what you are thinking.
