Because it is New Year’s Eve, it’s only appropriate to tell you the 6 conservative things I want for 2015.
1) Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and Scott Walker announce presidential run
These 3 candidates in order are my top 3 preferences I have for the 2016 Presidential Election. They’re all strong conservatives, bold, and fresh, young individuals that I believe people are yearning for, unlike Jeb Bush or Chris Christie.
2) A new, inaugurated Congress that will stop kicking the can down the road
With the inauguration coming up in a couple weeks after the historic November mid-term election, let’s just hope we have enough conservatives that will stop the liberal and RINO agenda of big government. We elected these individuals for a reason, so let us hold them accountable for their actions.
3) Fire John Boehner, Hire New Speaker
Let’s face it. John Boehner is nothing but a disaster and one of Obama’s good buddies. Under Boehner’s tenure as the speaker, nearly $4 Trillion has been added to the national debt, and his most recent support for the $1.1 Trillion CR Omnibus pork spending bill that supports amnesty and Obamacare funding until October 2015 is just another slap in the face of Conservatives and America.
4) Continue 2nd Amendment advocacy
I recently finished reading Dana Loesch’s fantastic book ‘Hands Off My Gun’ a few days ago. I hope for 2015 we can continue to teach Shannon R. Watts and other anti-2nd Amendment advocates, who are so ignorant on guns, the truth about how gun control doesn’t work and call them out whenever they continue using their talking point lies.
5) Continue to fight Obamacare and Amnesty
These two issues will not be going away. Obama’s amnesty plan will be discussed again this February, while some states are being granted additional challenges to parts of Obamacare. We need to follow the lead of Ted Cruz and Mike Lee, who are doing a tremendous job keeping their oath to the Constitution and their constituents.
6) Elect Mia Love to replace Steve Scalise
Following the scandal involving House Majority Whip Steve Scalise reportedly speaking at a white supremacy group 12 years ago, conservative Kurt Schlichter suggested that Mia Love could replace his spot if he were ever to resign the position. I love the idea because liberals also cringe over the fact that black conservatives do exist. Liberals tend to respond with a racist remark, calling them ‘Uncle Toms.’ When they have to resort to name calling like this, it means we’re winning and they’re scared.

On the other hand, it looks like Obama’s wish list for 2015 includes his attempt to releasing more Guantanamo Bay detainees and to close the prison. It has been reported that 5 more were recently released and sent to Kazakhstan. Unfortunately, he might succeed at this rate if he continues to get away with it. This is not what Americans want for 2015. I think most of them with common sense would support my 6 points over Obama’s intention to close Gitmo any day of the week.
Here’s to a great 2015! Let’s make it a year to continue the conservative movement of freedom and limited government, and hopefully even convert some more liberals to our side.
