If Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump debate without Hillary Clinton, America would’ve already accepted Sanders and Trump as the presidential candidates in November. This will be a big moral boost for Sanders challenging the Clinton nomination at the DNC convention and also give significant added advantage to Trump with his supporters who have been leery of Sanders and his “everything free” popularity campaign.
Imagine the possibilities! If the Sanders-Trump debate happens, it brings together an interesting dynamic between a candidate who has never been a part of the political system and a huge fan base who want to destroy the establishment against one who has campaigned on a message of wanting to revolutionize the way politics in the U.S. works.
The biggest loser here? Hillary Clinton.
The presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said Wednesday on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” that he would be happy to take on Democratic presidential contender Sen. Bernie Sanders in a debate before the California primary.
Trump said he would be willing to do it as long as a significant amount of money went to charity.
“How much is he going to pay me?” Trump asked, predicting the pair “would have such high ratings.”
Sanders seemingly accepted Trump’s challenge saying on Twitter, “Game on. I look forward to debating Donald Trump in California before the June 7 primary.”
Sanders took to Twitter immediately with this response:
Game on. I look forward to debating Donald Trump in California before the June 7 primary.

Trump’s willingness to debate Sanders is a huge strategic move for Sanders supporters. Trump could possibly get those votes if this goes down and Hillary finally wins the nomination for the Democratic party.
What a smack-down on Hillary. Even if she becomes the nominee, she is already becoming increasingly irrelevant. Now, she is just so irrelevant, that she is being left in the dust of the ruins of her own candidacy by not even being able to participate in the Debate.
