Not that the Republicans need any advice from liberal cheerleader Chris Matthews, but the way he ended his MSNBC TV Show Hardball with observations about the 2016 field was stunning. Matthews concluded calling Donald Trump “the best television candidate” since the likes of Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump.
Matthews broke down the list of viable Republican candidates to Trump, Marco Rubio, and Ted Cruz after four months of campaigning and to many they might agree.
Matthews seemingly took a shot at Trump by saying Republicans can either “shoot the moon” with Trump or play it safe with Rubio while calling Cruz “an inaugural kiss to Hillary.”
