Is Living Like our Pioneer Forefathers a Crime?

Each day I wake up I hope and pray that America gets back to being free, and each day (so far) I’m severely disappointed. We are losing our freedoms and we don’t seem to be doing anything about it. Why are we not protesting en mass? Why are we not running for office to stop this? Why are we just reading horrible stories about freedom loss, shrugging it off and continuing on with our day? What is wrong with us America? I guess we will sit by and do nothing until these stories start to effect us personally and then, of course, it will be too late.

As originally reported by Off the Grid News:

Imagine that you’re crazy enough to long for the past. A time when life was much tougher but a lot more free. A time when you were responsible for gathering your own food and water. A time when you were hot during the summer and cold during the winter. You know, living off the grid like our forefathers did in our not to distant past. Most of us would hate it. The bugs alone would drive me crazy but perhaps putting up with them would be worth it to be so free. YEP! How dare you think that you are free to throw off the chains of electricity, indoor plumbing and cable TV. Again, big brother knows how to raise your children better than you and they are willing to take your kids away to prove it. Just ask Joe and Nicole Naugler who lived with their 10 home-schooled kids in a cabin on 26 acres in Kentucky. Thanks to an “anonymous tip” their children have been taken.
