Not even 24 hours and it seems Gov. John Kasich is pushing back against the strategy he laid out with Sen. Ted Cruz last night to “join forces” to take down GOP front-runner Donald Trump.
Kasich: I’m not going to spin resources in Indiana and he’s not going to spend resources in other places, so what? What the big deal?
Reporter: Who should supporters vote for in Indiana?
Kasich: Well, uhh, I’ve never told them not to vote for me, they ought to vote for me, but I am not over there campaigning and spending resources. We have limited resources. You ought to feel good about it, mine is like the people’s campaign.
This is what Trump keeps talking about, the corruptness and backstabbing of politics. Where does this leave Cruz?
