These numbers are so huge! All I can look back to at this point is when I continued to say the GOP candidates should have been talking to the people instead of personally attacking Donald Trump.
I think it is a backlash of all politicians, including current congress. Trump is not an insider, not a politician, neither is Carson and Cruz is only a one term politician that is hated by the politicians of his party. It is an anti-GOP movement you are seeing.
The RNC is scared of him. The Democrats hate him! The news media can’t get enough of him. He is self – funded and is NOT bought by lobbyists and corporations. I have not endorsed anyone yet, but I can tell you this, he’s not a pansy like our current idiot.
Check this then vs. now numbers > unbelievable!
Things that would have killed off other campaigns several times over only make his stronger. The press, other GOP candidates and Clinton all need to learn that addressing him and blowing up his comments is exactly what he wants. It plays directly into his hand.
Check out these numbers over the last few months:
Trump tops the field with 39%, according to the poll of Republican and Republican-leaning registered voters. That’s more than double the share backing Cruz, who, at 18%, has inched up 2 points since the last CNN/ORC poll, which was taken in late November.
Trump has been a constant atop the polls since his ascent to the lead in July, and this new poll marks the first time Cruz stands significantly apart from the other candidates vying for the nomination. Behind those two, Ben Carson and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio have each slipped a few points and now stand tied at 10%.
I can proudly say there is a candidate who hits back at the dishonest and biased media. Trump controls the media like a puppet on a string and he’s the better for it. Congrats!
