In typical Mark Levin fashion, “The Great One” went off on a rant about the fact that President Obama is planning to hit a fundraiser on Wednesday only hours after attending a memorial service to honor those who were killed in the most recent Fort Hood shooting.
“I want to tell you something that I’m ashamed of and disgusted about,” Levin said, “This is just so appalling.”
He went on to read from the official presidential schedule posted on the White House website (something that Levin’s frequent listeners know he does quite often), pointing out that on Wednesday the president and Mrs. Obama will first attend the Fort Hood memorial service then head to a Democratic National Committee fundraising event about an hour and a half later.
“The president is actually spending more time fundraising in Texas than honoring those who were murdered at Fort Hood at the memorial ceremony,”
He went on,
“I don’t know how you leave such a solemn event and then within hours you’re glad-handing you’re fundraising as if you can turn it off and turn it on,”

Is anyone really surprised? Remember after the first Fort Hood shooting, Obama made headlines when he gave a “shout-out” to “Dr. Joe Medicine Crow” instead of first speaking about the shooting. NBC even reported on it. Here was the headline and excerpt from the article:
“The situation called for not only his trademark eloquence, but also grace and perspective.
But instead of a somber chief executive offering reassuring words and expressions of sympathy and compassion, viewers saw a wildly disconnected and inappropriately light president making introductory remarks.”
While Levin is absolutely right in his assessment of Obama – the man is an absolute disgrace – this isn’t a shocker or anything new. Obama is a wildly disconnected and inappropriate president.
