Sen. John McCain decided to weigh in on President Trump’s anger over being forced to sanction Russia and give up power to waive those sanctions.
McCain fresh off his betrayal to the American people with not repealing Obamacare is not happy Trump didn’t go along quietly about being forced to sign legislation that takes his constitutional power away?
Republicans and Democrats signed their constitutional powers over to George W. Bush after 9/11, and they even gave Barack Obama power to do different things from time to time. I remember one of those blank checks was to raise the debt to anything he wanted; Republicans did that one.
McCain has the audacity to roll over in his cancer bed and call out President Trump for not being on board

“The concerns expressed in the President’s signing statement are hardly surprising, though misplaced,” McCain said in a statement soon after the president signed a bill which limits his ability to unilaterally alter sanctions against Russia, Iran and North Korea.
The Arizona senator also took the opportunity to take a stand for the powers of Congress, which rival the president’s.
“The Framers of our Constitution made the Congress and the president coequal branches of government,” McCain wrote. “This bill has already proven the wisdom of that choice.”
That was a direct jab at the president, who, in a press statement had called the sanctions bill “seriously flawed” because of the limits it imposes on the executive branch’s ability to “strike good deals for the American people.” Mr. Trump declared, “The Framers of our Constitution put foreign affairs in the hands of the President. This bill will prove the wisdom of that choice,” that is, that Congress would come to regret the sanctions legislation.
Remember, Congress while McCain has been glued to that smelly Senate seat has given their “powers of Congress” over to the executive branch but never have I seen them steal the power of the President.
