I enjoy listening to a variety of conservative talk show hosts on the radio, whether I’m at home or driving in the car. Some have different personalities, and definitely more cynical than others. Speaking of cynical, this is when conservative host Michael Savage comes to mind.
Although Savage is a conservative and makes sense on many issues, I think he’s completely wrong to attack some conservatives regarding the border crisis. However, Savage is no stranger to criticizing other conservatives, including Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin in the past, and his latest targets include Ted Cruz and Glenn Beck.
With the massive inflow of illegal aliens crossing the border, including some of them being unaccompanied kids, Ted Cruz and Glenn Beck made the decision to help aid these kids at the border. Now it is first significant to point out that Cruz and Beck do not support amnesty or illegal immigration in any way.
Conservative Dana Loesch of TheBlaze defended Glenn Beck’s help at the border. Considering she works with Glenn Beck and knows him much more than Michael Savage, I can say I agree with her, and so would most conservatives.
Now because Ted Cruz joined Glenn Beck, Michael Savage went off at him, saying his political hopes for 2016 are completely over.
Michael Savage has to redirect his anger towards the government spending our taxpayer dollars to deal with this border crisis, not towards citizens like Ted Cruz and Glenn Beck spending time with private charities to help these kids. Yes, we need to deport them, but the question is what we do now that they’re at the border. We can briefly help the unaccompanied kids, and still, support deportation and oppose amnesty at the same time.
