Anti-gun group Moms Demand Action took their bullying and intimidation tactics tour to their next store: Kroger.
The group kicked off their new campaign on Monday, demanding the 2,500 Kroger stores nationwide to reverse their open-carry policy. Shannon R. Watts, the head of Moms Demand Action, and their draconian organization have campaigned against many previous stores, including Jack in the Box. Well perhaps it is no coincidence that a couple robberies and a shooting have taken place there ever since the group campaigned against Jack in the Box.
In part of their new campaign against Kroger, Moms Demand Action’s homepage created their #GroceriesNotGuns hashtag on twitter, and are asking citizens to sign their petition to ban open carry in the stores. Included in their letter, they claim ‘In recent years, man shootings and gun rallies have taken place at Kroger brand stores, which include Fred Meyer, Ralph’s, Smiths, Food4Less, Harris Teeter, and others.’ Of course, no stats or further details behind this were included.
It is clear that Moms Demand Action and similar anti-2nd Amendment groups aren’t for improving safety. They’re for more government control and continue their long-term goal of abolishing the right to bear arms for all law abiding citizens. They continue to lie, intimidate, and bully those who do not follow their agenda, and one of the best things we can do is continue exposing these groups and letting Kroger know that we don’t want them to change their policy. We also need to tell Kroger to stand up for their principles and not let the intimidation tactics of Moms Demand Action persuade them to overturn their open-carry policy.
Plus, it really doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure it out. A criminal now knows where the most recent gun free zones will be, and they won’t hesitate to commit crime sprees at these locations when they have the chance. So it won’t be law abiding citizens who will be thanking Moms Demand Action. It will be the criminals thanking them for creating new gun free zones wherever they go.
