What was that about the liberals wanting to pray together and calm down the rhetoric?
MSNBC’s lesser watched weekend show host Joy Reid doesn’t have the sympathy of a housefly.
If you haven’t heard my radio show, I always talk about how Democrats and the media play off emotion. In the video below, Reid asks her guest to “interpret” what Republicans meant by we need to come together. As if there was some underlining motive to that request.
While the country is still praying for Rep. Steve Scalise’s recovery, Reid decided there’s no better time to slam this Republican than while he’s on his sick bed.
There’s a whole country out there and a lot of people, at least in my Twitter timeline, and it’s a delicate thing, because everybody is wishing the congressman well and hoping that he recovers, but Steve Scalise has a history that we’ve all been forced to sort of ignore on race.
He did come to leadership after some controversy over attending a white nationalist event, which he says he didn’t know what it was.
Let’s remember, this accusation of attending a white nationalist event is an allegation but Reid reported it as plain and simple truth. Then she made a mockery of Scalise co-authoring a bill to define marriage between a man and a woman. Oh, the humanity, right?
He also co-sponsored a bill to amend the Constitution to define marriage as between a man and a woman. He co-sponsored the House healthcare bill, which as you said would gut healthcare for millions of people including three million children and he cosponsored a bill to repeal the ban on semiautomatic weapons,” Reid continued, bashing Scalise for holding mainstream Republican positions. “Because he is in jeopardy and everybody is pulling for him, are we required in a moral sense to put that aside in the moment?
Watch the video below:
I do not watch Reid or follow her on Twitter but I can tell you her show is trash and she doesn’t need to be a host. Did you watch in the beginning of the clip, her body language and facial expressions was “do I do this?”
I have no sympathy for any hate speech this woman gets from here on in. Her attempt to paint Scalise in a bad light just because she couldn’t come up with a solid topic for her show is not anyone else’s fault but hers.
