NEWSFLASH! Here’s 3 Things From Pope’s Climate Encyclical Liberal Media Ignored

There are 3 things the liberal mainstream media did not want to admit regarding the 184-page climate encyclical Laudato Si published by Pope Francis on Thursday.

1) Condemnation of Abortion

Pope Francis has condemned the use of abortion and other population control measures. He mentioned the following.

Since everything is interrelated, concern for the protection of nature is also incompatible with the justification of abortion. How can we genuinely teach the importance of concern for other vulnerable beings, however troublesome or inconvenient they may be, if we fail to protect a human embryo, even when its presence is uncomfortable and creates difficulties?

2) No to Transgenderism

Although the Pontiff does not explicitly use the word “transgender”, he does state how important it is to embrace yourself the way God created you.

The acceptance of our bodies as God’s gift is vital for welcoming and accepting the entire world as a gift from the Father and our common home, whereas thinking that we enjoy absolute power over our own bodies turns, often subtly, into thinking that we enjoy absolute power over creation.

He continued on.

Learning to accept our body, to care for it and to respect its fullest meaning, is an essential element of any genuine human ecology.

3) This encyclical is NOT INFALLIBLE

Although this is heard many times, it is always good to mention since there continues to be so much confusion on the concept of papal infallibility from the mainstream media.

Papal Infallibility is not everything that the pope says. He is only infallible on matters of faith and morals. In fact, of the 2000 year Roman Catholic Church history, Papal Infallibility has been invoked less than a dozen times, so it does not take place very often. The last official infallible statement came from Pope Pius XII in 1950. Plus, the bigger picture of the encyclical is not specifically man-made climate change, in which practicing Catholics are allowed to disagree on, but on taking care of the environment in general and being good stewards of the Earth.
