No charges for policemen who shot 12-year-old Tamir Rice

A grand jury in Cleveland, Ohio has announced their decision on whether or not the officers involved in the fatal shooting of 12 year Tamir Rice last November.

Neither officers will face charges per the grand jury’s decision.

The family of Rice along with many activists hoped to see not only charges brought against the officers, but a conviction as well.

Rice was fatally shot by two Cleveland PD officers when they responded to a report of a boy with a gun. He was wielding a pellet gun when officers arrived and he was immediately shot by the responding officers.
