OH WOW: Beck – “Now I know why atheists and agnostics think so poorly of Evangelicals”

Wow! First we had the National Review 22 telling us we aren’t the right kind of conservative if we are partial to Donald Trump, now we have Glenn Beck telling us we aren’t the right kind of Christian if we support Trump.

Don’t dare to judge me unless you know me, and even then keep your opinions to yourselves. I’m tired of being led around by a chain. What “the right kind of conservatives” have been doing for years ain’t working, I’m trying something new! Don’t like it, tough! Protecting our language, borders, and culture is about as conservative as it gets in my book!

Instead of admonishing the facebook poster for his words, Beck allowed this to stay on his page and wanted to see if there was any support for it:

From Glenn Beck’s facebook page:

So I had to look up the definition of what Evangelical means tonight because it is counter intuitive when I hear that Evangelicals support a fake/pretend Christian like Donald Trump. Evangelical: Of relating to, or being in agreement with the Christian gospel especially as it is presented in the four Gospels. Emphasizing salvation by faith in the atoning death of Jesus Christ through personal conversion, the authority of Scripture, and the importance of preaching as contrasted with ritual. Glad I found the definition because I was beginning to think that Evangelical meant: Hypocrite, liar, deceiver and take it or leave it believer in God. I am so Glad I am a devoted Christian adhering to God’s laws and not an Evangelical. Now I know why atheists and agnostics think so poorly of Evangelicals. Please just call me a Christian and follower of Christ from here on out. And to my friends who call themselves Evangelicals that didn’t drink the Trump Kool Aid, I strongly recommend you stay as far away from the title Evangelical as you can. God Bless everyone and God Bless the United States of America.

Beck BEGGED South Carolina evangelical voters to support Cruz:

He passionately talked to these evangelicals trying to secure their support for this candidate and now he’s trashing them. This seems to be a pattern as he once supported Trump and now he’s trashing him, he supported Trump’s spokesperson Katrina Pierson and he trashed her, he supported Sarah Palin and he trashed her.

People need to wake up and see this was a bad thing for Beck to latch on to Cruz. I see it as a huge negative and pull on the Cruz campaign. What about you? Share your opinions below and let us know what you think.
