Sen. Ted Cruz spokesman, Rick Tyler was back on TV as the attack dog for the campaign trying to defend supporting Donald Trump for the better part of the campaign season but it seemed he couldn’t get it done.
CNN host John Berman called out the Cruz campaign’s support for Trump from August to November
“On Donald Trump’s record, which you are now calling out, this was all his record before he jumped into the race,” host John Berman said.
“That’s right,” Tyler agreed.
Berman showed a couple of screenshots of quotes from Cruz such as this one:
Berman then continued “That was then, this is now, I don’t understand what happened. Ted Cruz seemed to love Donald Trump.”
Tyler ducked the support for Trump while calling the businessman “inconsistent” and “unstable,” keywords he’s been using in all of his interviews as of late. He also compared Trump to supports for socialized medicine, 9/11 conspiracy theories, and Planned Parenthood as Democrats do.
