Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Police Detective Benjamin Marconi, who was murdered in cold blood on Sunday afternoon. The suspect walked up behind the police officer who was in his vehicle writing a ticket, shot the officer in the back of the head and shot another time in the car.
President-Elect Donald Trump will not be happy with this event and will probably speak out about it in the next couple of days. Police officers are there to serve and protect, not to be murdered and slaughtered.
From Blue Lives Matter:
A San Antonio Police officer was on a traffic stop in front of police headquarters when another vehicle pulled up behind him and the occupant shot the officer in the head.
The report of shots fired came in at 11:40 a.m. The officer was issuing a traffic ticket when a person pulled up behind his patrol car in a black vehicle. The person walked up and fired into the police car, striking the officer in the head. The suspect then reached into the vehicle and fired a second round at the officer.
San Antonio Police Department released a statement saying that, “This is everyone’s worst nightmare. We will be putting information out about the suspect.”
An EMS crew took the injured officer to SAMMC where he died from his injuries.
The heroes in San Antonio will hunt down this killer and bring him to justice.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the murdered officer and his family.
