NFL superstar and Hall of Fame legend Deion Sanders was asked to share his thoughts on the San Bernardino shooting.
The reporters tried to bait Deion by referencing “gun violence”, but the legend shut her down like he did to so many receivers in his career:
“[Guns aren’t] “picking up themselves and pulling triggers on [their] own. I think people are doing that. It says more about people than it says about guns.”
Sanders went on to say that gun violence occurs “on a daily basis” in the inner city but and solving that problem is a key first step to solving gun violence nationwide.
Neon Deion ultimately left the reporter with this gem, echoing something gun owners have said for years:
“I’m not an advocate of ignorance or violence whatsoever, but we really need to look at people.”
