SET UP! Megyn Kelly creates last minute Town Hall; Trump unable to attend due to commitments

Fox News can not expect candidates to cancel rallies that have scheduled and other campaign functions at the last minute just so any news outlet can fill an empty time slot.

Megyn Kelly desperately wanted to have another shot @ Trump before Super Tuesday. Only Sean Hannity was given a platform and had Trump for a full hour on his show. The rest will not have another stab at him till later, and by that time the contest should be just about over.

Does no one else see what is going on here? These events have been planned for quite some time apparently and posted publicly. Do you not think this could be intentional to attempt to hurt Trump’s campaign? When you scheduled a town hall (last min my rear), if you are honest, you don’t schedule it during a time you know the clear front runner is unavailable with a host is known to have had “history” with the candidate in question.

For one, I am glad Trump is skipping the town hall. I find CNN and MSNBC to be as objective with Trump. Fox News bashes him constantly. A few of their hosts show objectivity. Megyn operates as a scorned woman and should be replaced just to remove contention. It is simply not enjoyable to watch the attacks.

From The Hollywood Reporter:

The GOP presidential frontrunner had a prior commitment that could not be changed on short notice, according to a Trump campaign spokeswoman.

“The campaign has a previous engagement in Virginia and then New York, which could not be rescheduled,” Trump spokesperson Hope Hicks said in an email to The Hollywood Reporter. “Given this was just proposed at the last minute, it was not possible to change our plans in order to attend.”

The two-hour voter summit taking place in Houston, The Kelly File: Face to Face With Candidates, will feature the four additional remaining Republican candidates, according to Fox News. Those men are Dr. Ben Carson, Sen. Ted Cruz, Sen. Marco Rubio and Gov. John Kasich, who will join the event via remote. Audience members will pose questions to the candidates who will be onstage one at a time, according to the network.

This reeks of establishment game playing again. Much like the obviously stacked audience at the last debate. The problem is there is a percentage of the population that will assume that Trump is running from Kelly, while the truth is the event was intentionally scheduled during a time when Trump already had commitments.

Watch what happens, one by one, each of the candidates will take shots at Trump since he is not there to respond.
