Trump Quickly Disavows Ex-Butler Who Posted Horrific Statement About Obama

GOP presumptive nominee Donald Trump quickly disavowed his former butler Tony Senecal, who went overboard in his support for Trump via his Facebook page, calling for Obama to be killed by our military.

Statements like that are not helpful to the candidate even though Senecal has a right to say them under the 1st amendment. Nobody knows whether he was serious or was just making a statement to have been. Secret Service is investigating.

From USAToday:

Senecal — the butler who worked for Trump for 17 years — posted on Facebook Wednesday and said Obama should have been “taken out by our military and shot as an enemy agent in his first term,” adding that Trump would “put an end to the corruption in government,” while calling likely Democratic nominee a murderer.

Senecal’s Facebook profile is public, but Wednesday’s post is not showing up publicly. However, the former butler confirmed he wrote it to Mother Jones.

The Wednesday message is not the first inflammatory post from Senecal about Obama. He called on the president to be killed in Facebook messages from 2015 as well, Mother Jones notes.

The Secret Service said they were aware and investigating.

“The U.S. Secret Service is aware of this matter and will conduct the appropriate investigation,” a spokesman from the agency said in a statement.
