Trump senses Cruz attack on campaign; launches preemptive strike on Twitter — bad idea?

Well, it’s started, and GOP front-runner doesn’t look like he’s going to wait too much longer to go after surging Ted Cruz.

Cruz is in a perfect position here because Trump attacking him from one side will bring the biased liberal media out to run defense for him as they try to take Trump down. All Cruz has to do is stay above the fray, and he will gain as the silent “middle man.”

And remember, the media hates Cruz so he stands to benefit both ways. Do you agree?

As I said on my radio show last night, Cruz is now implementing a negative/positive strategy. He will lay out what he doesn’t agree with and smooth it over with accolades and beautiful praise. It’s genius.  When speaking about Trump and Dr. Ben Carson this week, Cruz said the following:

“Who am I comfortable having their finger on the button? Now that’s a question of strength, but it’s also a question of judgment. And I think that is a question that is a challenging question for both of them,” Cruz said, according to the audio posted by the Times. “So my approach, much to the frustration of the media, has been to bear hug both of them, and smother them with love.”

But here’s the negative/positive ending, Cruz also said that he was “thrilled” that Trump was in the race because “he has framed the central narrative of this primary as who will stand up to Washington” and saw his record as somebody who has “stood up to Washington.”

There’s no way Trump can win against Cruz utilizes thatstrategy. The media will go after Trump as a bully and Cruz will soar higher. It’s almost genius.

These two candidates actually should keep one eye on Rubio as he is actually the media darling and anything the biased liberal media can do to help Rubio climb, they will do. Remember the two debates he was supposed to have won but never was able to move up the polls, let alone overtake Trump in Florida.

What do you think about Trump jumping out at Cruz? Is this good strategy? Share your comments below.
