GOP front-runner Donald Trump has now been projected the winner of the two biggest prizes of “Super Saturday” – the Louisiana Primary and the Kentucky Caucus.
The day started very rough for Trump, with Cruz continuing his strong showings in Caucus states – winning Kansas and Maine. But Trump recovered nicely, winning the only Primary of the day – Louisiana, and winning a caucus in Kentucky.
The two wins now give Trump 12 victories so far in this campaign to Ted Cruz’s six victories. For Trump 11 of 12 wins have been in primaries while 4 of 6 Cruz’s wins have come in caucuses.
Trump is just the tip of the iceberg. It’s not about Trump, It’s about the fact that while WE pay 535 deadbeats in Washington, all legislation is written by and for lobbyists and their oligarch masters.
It’s about congressional staffers who are exempt from insider trading laws so they can get rich from information regular people can’t get. It’s about almost all media being owned by six (yeah SIX!) corporations.
The sound you hear is the establishment running as fast as it can to keep in front of the mob. About damn time I say.
