Back in January of 2012 Cecilia Munoz was announced as the new Director of the Domestic Policy Council, hired specifically for her expertise in immigration policy. She now serves as the director of the White House Domestic Policy Council, Obama’s Immigration czar.
Prior to joining Obama’s cast of characters she served for twenty years as Senior Vice-President of the National Council of La Raza (“La Raza” means “The Race”). She brought in a steady flow of government cash that’s allowed the Washington D.C.-based group to expand nationwide and promote its leftist, open-borders agenda via a network of community organizations dedicated to serving Latinos.
Before she was appointed, Obama had to issue a special ethics waiver to bring Munoz aboard since it violated his own lobbyist ban. At the pro illegal immigration NCLR, Munoz supervised all legislative and advocacy activities on the state and local levels, and she was heavily involved in the congressional immigration battles that took place in the George W. Bush Administration. Following her arrival to the White House, federal funding for La Raza doubled and that doesn’t include money funneled to La Raza from offshoots like Chicanos Por La Causa (CPLC).
Two years after being appointed amnesty pusher, she has shown that she is either incompetent or complicit in the tsunami of illegal immigrants. Despite what the mainstream media portrays, it isn’t just children. Let’s not forget the scattering of unsavory folks like MS-13 gang-bangers and jihadists carelessly leaving their prayer rugs behind.

Last week we got a sense of just how little the Obama administration cares about handling the border surge. After sucking down some fine ale with pro-illegal immigrant filmmaker Robert Rodriguez, el Presidente took part in the photo-ops he previously denounced. Between fundraisers he was able to meet with Texas Governor Rick Perry.
Governor Perry asked for the National Guard to be placed on the border, the President refused in his typical petulant fashion and demanded his $3.7 billion, that’s approximately $60,000 per illegal immigrant child.
Some of us were expecting him to actually go to the border where his humanitarian crisis was taking place, but no. We never really got an answer why he avoided the border. Maybe he was afraid of contracting drug-resistant Tuberculosis from the detention camps that nobody is allowed to see. Even a U.S. Congressman is forced to relinquish their phone just to take a glimpse inside. We can’t ask the healthcare workers any questions either; well we can, but if they answer they could face prison time.
The ACLU has already started class action law suits on behalf of illegal immigrant groups against the Department of Justice with a reported cost in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
Last week MSNBC of all places pressed Cecilia Munoz for answers on why Obama didn’t go to the border. She rambled on and never gave a straight answer to any of the questions.
Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) doesn’t see any end in sight.
He said President Obama’s request for $3.7 billion in supplemental funding amounts to an “admission” that he plans for the influx of immigrant children to “continue indefinitely”.
Cruz said that only five percent of the funding would provide for “boots on the ground” along the southern border. “This is an HHS and social services bill that is entitled border security to make it appear as if it’s responding to the problem,” Cruz told National Review Online.
“But this supplemental bill is an admission by the president that he has no intention of solving this problem, and, indeed, that he anticipates it continuing indefinitely, because he is simply asking for money to deal with those kids who are coming after they’ve been brutalized, rather than taking the necessary steps to prevent them from coming here in the first place, to prevent them from being victimized,” Cruz also said.
The Obama administration has been planning for this border invasion since at least January 29th, likely much longer.
According to the document posted on Federal Business Opportunities, I.C.E. (a component of D.H.S.) was “seeking the services of a responsible vendor that shares the philosophy of treating all UAC with dignity and respect, while adhering to standard operating procedures and policies that allow for an effective, efficient, and incident free transport”.
Wouldn’t it be great to be able to see some of Munoz’s email communications throughout the last two years? That’s where the answers lie.
The situation is worsening by the day, more camps are opening up and more towns are being saddled with illegals carrying no identification. We’re losing sovereignty as a nation faster than ever before in history. The feds are doing nothing so it’s up to We The People now. The militia is picking up the slack for Border Patrol as they’re stuck tending to the detainees. The Minuteman have mobilized for what they’ve called “Operation Normandy” with over 3,500 volunteers.
God help us all.
