We should all be familiar with the Democrat playbook by now. Not only do they love to divide Americans into categories, black, white, gay, straight, rich, poor, men, women, they also love to portray these categories of people as victims of one thing or another. Predictably, they are the “victims” of Republicans. Victims of Republican legislation or victims of Republicans getting in the way of legislation designed for nothing more than throwing more money at these groups of “victims” to keep them voting for the Democrat Party.
The latest example, the ever increasingly absurd and certainly manufactured “war on women”. As best as anyone can tell, this all started when Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke went before Congress and basically threw a temper tantrum because she could not convince the American People to pay for her recreational sexcapades. Almost instantaneously, the narrative went that the GOP was hell bent on keeping American women barefoot and pregnant, and in the kitchen. But make no mistake, the war on women serves a dual purpose, it takes the mandatory shots at Republicans, while helping to seal the deal with mostly single women in the run up to the 2016 presidential race where Hillary Clinton is already far and away the front runner for the Democrats.
With Liberals “war on women” fresh in the mind, let’s take a look at how women across the globe are faring. It is common knowledge that life in the Middle East is not all that idyllic if you really are by accident, born female. Most of us are familiar with the story of sixteen year old Malala Yousafzai. A young Pakistani girl who was shot in the head by the Taliban in 2012 for the atrocity of advocating education for girls in a Muslim country. War on women Democrats?
A day in the life of the average Iranian woman is to be continually harassed throughout the day by the morality police. They stop women on the street and even in their cars and ask them questions such as, whether or not you are having an inappropriate relationship with male classmates if you are a student. Why are you wearing make up? Why do you have a Facebook account, and why are you not wearing a headscarf or “hijab” in the picture? Do you have a boyfriend? Do your friends have boyfriends? The questions get still more probing and more personal. Is this the war you are talking about Democrats?
Perhaps the most disturbing story comes from where else, Saudi Arabia, where women are not just second class citizens, they are property. In a monthly publication put out by The Voices of the Martyrs, an organization that works with persecuted Christians in the Middle East was a picture of a young woman. There was no name attached to the photo. She had obviously been beaten, but this was no ordinary beating. Because she had publicly and bravely stated her Christian beliefs, her “master”, more than likely her husband or a male family member, had sewn one eye, and her mouth shut so she could never speak of her beliefs again. Could this be the war on women that has Liberal Democrats so up in arms?
The answer is no. It is much easier to ramble on about birth control, supposed income disparity, which actually begins at the White House itself, or abortion on demand.
American women are much smarter than this. It is fake diversion that will only backfire.
So remember Democrats, war is hell.
