According to a report with the left leaning Israeli newspaper Haaretz, five members of the Obama 2012 campaign led by Jeremy Bird have arrived in Israel to assist in defeating the re-election of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
This shines a light on the history behind the obvious mistreatment of Netanyahu since Obama has been in office. The recent announcement by House Speaker John Boehner to host the Prime Minister with Congress has grown heated criticism by the Obama administration.
A senior official was quoted about the invitation, stating “He spat in our face publicly and that’s no way to behave. Netanyahu ought to remember that President Obama has a year and a half left to his presidency, and that there will be a price.”
When pressed at a recent press briefing, Press Secretary Josh Ernest did not deny the quote, but tried to dismiss the notion that the sentiment made by the senior official reflects the feelings of the entire administration. It should be noted as a reminder that it was another senior Obama official who just last year called the Prime Minister “chickenshit.”
When asked if Obama felt “slighted” by the invitation for Netanyahu to address Congress, Earnest states, “This administration goes to great lengths to ensure that we don’t give even the appearance of interfering or attempting to influence the outcome” regarding democratic elections abroad.
However, Earnest seems to conveniently omit reports that members of the Obama campaign team are making every attempt to influence the outcome in the Israeli elections this March.
The group funding this trip of the Obama campaign team is none other than “One Voice“, which professes on their website to have organized a campaign movement called “Abbas not Hamas” in Palestine to show Israeli’s that President Abbas is actually a good person just trying to bring a peaceful resolution to the two state process. In other words, the attacks last year by the terrorist group Hamas against Israel is actually a “misunderstanding.” One Voice is an international organization with groups in the United States, groups funded by our very government through federal grants.
Any question as to the motive to continually attack one of America’s strongest allies by this administration should now be answered. Obama wants Netanyahu out of power and the candidate his campaign team will assist is most certainly as radical in ideology as this President.
