While the mainstream media has been focusing on the McKinney police officer for allegedly being reckless, they are once again silent when a police officer becomes the victim of a shooting or tragedy.
Here are 3 police officers who were shot over the past week during the outrage in McKinney:
1) On Tuesday, 19-year-old Jonathan Gilbert was identified as the wanted suspect for shooting a Miami-Dade police officer.
2) A Canadian police officer named Daniel Woodall, who was 35 years old, was shot and killed on Monday while serving a warrant in Alberta.
3) A 47-year-old Houston cop named Terry Smith was shot in the back Tuesday night during a traffic stop.
So why do these three stories go unnoticed compared to the McKinney coverage? Simply because it’s the police officers who are the victims in these cases, along with the anti-police rhetoric from race baiters, it creates a very unpleasant combination.
In a nutshell, it’s the same thing we’re seeing countless times. The McKinney police officer may have mismanaged a situation, everyone is in an uproar. However, when a police officer is a victim, it is complete silence from the media. Shame on them!
