Teacher Turned Stripper Told Dr. Phil About Her Past; What Happened Next Was A Shocker!
But when you are an educator, and you sleep with a student hundreds times over a nine month period you're asking for trouble.

Ok listen, I don’t mind intervention and I really don’t mind confession. All of it works out in the end and is usually good for the soul.

But when you are an educator and you sleep with a student hundreds times over a nine month period you’re asking for trouble. What’s worse is you decide to come clean about it on Dr. Phil after you have decided to become a stripper and thought you left all that in the past.

Mary Beth Haglin, 24, thought she was clearing her sins when she spoke to TV personality Dr. Phil but she might have landed herself in a huge bit of trouble.

From NY Post:

The Iowa substitute teacher-turned-stripper charged with bedding a student is now facing even more time in the slammer – because she spoke with Dr. Phil, according to a new report.

In October, Mary Beth Haglin, 24, gave an interview to TV shrink Dr. Phil McGraw, in which she admitted that she slept with the 17-year-old boy “hundreds of times” over a nine month period.

Haglin, who now works as a stripper named “Bambi,” was originally charged with sexually exploiting a minor – a misdemeanor that carries a maximum two year prison term.

But after the Dr. Phil interview aired, prosecutors amended their criminal complaint to include a more serious charge — sexual exploitation – which could land the pole dancer behind bars for five years, the Daily Star reported.

“The defendant has participated in a series of public interviews in which she admitted engaging in a pattern or practice of sexual conduct with a student while employed as a teacher at Washington High School, which supports the more serious felony offence,” according to new papers filed by the Linn County Attorney’s Office in Cedar Rapids, IO.

Haglin, 24, was expected to enter a plea on the new charges during a scheduled hearing on November 4.

I learned from a Pastor a long time ago, yes you should confess your sins to God and start anew. But if you robbed a bank, that doesn’t mean go back and tell them you robbed them.

What she did was terrible and she should be locked up but sometimes you might have wanted to keep to yourself, you think?
