Sen. Orin Hatch, (UT) didn’t like the way the CNN interview was going when they compared former SCOTUS nominee Merrick Garland to Neil Gorsuch.
In the interview below, Hatch calmly described what was going on in the Senate and why Democrats are unable to accept Neil Gorsuch as the next Supreme Court Justice.
The CNN anchor played defense for the Democrats when he tried to compare both judges while using Hatch’s name.
That didn’t go over too well.

“They’re politicizing this whole process. This is a guy who is a mainstream conservative, which they hate. They don’t like that. And of course, they are still upset about my other friend, Merrick Garland. But the Republicans had every right to delay that within a presidential election year.”
“I can’t go back in time and show you any case where in a presidential election year they allowed a Supreme Court justice to be nominated unless both sides agreed. And both sides didn’t agree.”
I am happy Hatch called out CNN. I hope every other Republican will go on there and dismiss their reporting. This CNN interview was refreshing in so many ways because it showed our side not standing for their biased reporting.
