USAA Says Good Bye To MSNBC’s Maddow, Chris Hayes And Lawrence
USAA told ABC News that it aired ads on the three shows by accident, and will take steps to ensure that that doesn’t happen again in the future.

My faith is restored in USAA Military Insurance after they pulled their ads from the Rachel Maddow Show, Lawrence O’Donnell and Chris Hayes.

USAA said they will be removing ads from public opinion shows as it was a mistake to place them there in the first place. I totally agree with USAA overall. When USAA removed its ads from Sean Hannity’s show, I was down as they are my insurance company but this gives me a lot more faith.

After facing a backlash for pulling advertisements from Fox News’ host Sean Hannity’s show, USAA will no longer run ads on liberal MSNBC host Rachel Maddow’s show.

The insurance company originally claimed that it would no longer run ads on “Hannity” because of a company policy against airing ads on “opinion shows.” The Media Research Center then revealed that the company had placed ads on MSNBC shows hosted by Maddow, Chris Hayes and Lawrence O’Donnell, all of whom present the news from a liberal viewpoint.

USAA told ABC News that it aired ads on the three shows by accident, and will take steps to ensure that that doesn’t happen again in the future. That announcement followed USAA members flooding the company’s Facebook page with angry comments. Many commenters said they would take their business elsewhere in retaliation for MSNBC pulling the ads.

USAA experimented with putting a few ads in a new market as an experiment. The right-wing over-reaction should have been predictable, but apparently, their focus groups didn’t have any hard-core types in them.

USAA is a business, and like any large business, it constantly experiments with new marketing venues. It’s not a massive Liberal conspiracy theory in spite of your attempts to make it look like one.

USAA at some point will learn business is business and should not be confused with ideals. If it doesn’t it may not remain a business for very long.
