Another Morning Joe Contributor Fired For Sexual Harassment, Intimidation
Various witnesses have backed her claims about Ford's behavior towards her and how inappropriate it seemed.

Former U.S. Congressman, MSNBC Morning Joe contributor Harold Ford was fired from Morgan Stanley due to allegations of misconduct.

Morning Joe can’t win for losing. Joe Scarborough had an intern who died mysteriously in his Congressional office years ago, but that turned into a cold case. Just a few weeks ago, Mark Halperin was shown the door because of his sexual misconduct. Ford had been seen on the show regularly shouting down Republicans and calling out President Trump and now he’s wrapped up in a web of his own.

This situation is a little touchy as Ford’s lawyer has explained the company hasn’t reached out to him to give him the news. Yashar Ali of the Huffington Post broke the news in a story earlier this afternoon.

Ali reported the woman in question was probed about the misconduct from Morgan Stanley’s HR department. Various witnesses have backed her claims about Ford’s behavior towards her and how inappropriate it seemed.

Morgan Stanley did confirm for Huffington Post, and Ford was terminated for this alleged misconduct.

The woman alleged that Ford engaged in harassment, intimidation, and forcibly grabbed her one evening in Manhattan, leading her to seek aid from a building security guard. The incident took place several years ago when Ford and the woman were supposed to be meeting for professional reasons. Ford continued to contact her after the encounter until she wrote an email asking him to cease contact.

The email, which was reviewed by HuffPost, shows that the woman emailed Ford after he repeatedly asked her to drinks. She asked him not to contact her anymore, citing his inappropriate conduct the evening where he forcibly grabbed and harassed her. Ford replied to the email by apologizing and agreeing not to contact her.

Ford has denied these accusations and said he would sue the woman and Morgan Stanley for wrongful termination.

Morning Joe is just going to consist of Joe and Mika until he gets sick of her.

I am not for firing someone without proof and let alone one person’s accusation or allegation. But then again, I don’t think Morgan Stanley is not going to fire someone based solely on allegations. There must be (at the very least) a preponderance of evidence upon which they are basing their decision.

More Democrats go down. It seems instead of daily; this is now about an hour by hour basis.
